Jeremaine Yeo is an award-winning, versatile singer with more than 18 years’ experience in the music industry. His talent and passion is what distinguishes him. Multiple awards, notably Champion of the PSC Night Category Singing Contest in 2003 and second-place in Ufame 3rd Season in 2001 affirm his vocal prowess.
Jeremaine was Singapore’s representative in the 10th Penang-Shanghai World Star Quest in 2007 and regularly grace stages abroad. No stranger to Singapore’s live performance scene, he performs frequently at the People’s Association PassionArts Singing Festival to promote arts and culture in Singapore. He also supports local festivals such as “Chingay”, “Pop! Twister!”, “POPlicious” and “Xinyao Beautiful Sunday”.
Besides singing, Jeremaine enjoys creating his own compositions. He says “Song-creation is one of the most intimate ways a singer shares the inspiration he receives from music. My songs reflect the inseparable connection between my life journey and my music.” This belief has produced stirring pieces and won Jeremaine several awards. Noteworthy honors include ‘Best Composer’ at Trinity Music Competition and ‘Champion’ at 第十届飞越时空, organized by Lee Wei Song School of Music in 2008 and NTU in 2004 respectively.
Complementing Jeremaine’s singing and composition interests is his work as a qualified vocal instructor for aspiring singers. He scored a Distinction in TVU Advanced Graded Examination in Music Performance Popular Music Vocals Grade 8 from the London College of Music Examinations in 2009.
Jeremaine taught at the well-known Lee Wei Song School of Music from 2009 to 2013 and is currently a freelance vocal instructor for individual teaching.
